Merrick County is scheduled to have a Driver’s Examiner on February 9th and February 23rd. Due to the state-wide examiner shortage, if you are planning to see the examiner one of those days, please call our office at (308) 946-2171, on the morning of your visit, to ensure that he/she is still planning to be here. Other options include: Online renewal at the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles; Hall County, with an examiner available each day; Hamilton County, with an examiner available on Tuesdays; York County, with an examiner available on Thursdays and Fridays; and Platte County, with an examiner available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
